Antique Gothic Renaissance Carved Entry Table And Entry Cabinet

This is a wonderful heavily carved table imported from France. The Gothic Renaissance piece has two dovetailed drawers up top with two cabinet doors underneath. There is a single shelf inside the cabinets and both doors have a working lock with a single key that works both. Although the piece came from France the design looks Spanish. It's possibly Christopher Columbus with the ships carved on the drawers and figures on the cabinet doors.

I'm not sure what the original intended use of this piece is but it would make a great entry table, sofa table, or just a statement piece along the wall in any room in your home. It is in excellent condition with minor age appropriate finish loss.

This table is 47" wide, 12" deep and 30.25" tall.
