This is a wonderful wood postal mail sorting table. It came from the post office in Canyon, Texas and was made by the Federal Equipment Company in 1937. This information is stamped on the bottom. On the front are two cabinet doors and two drawers. There are so many uses for this great piece. On it's own, it's just attention drawing decor. But it would also make a super work bench, perhaps a large kitchen island, a coffee or cocktail bar, a server or anything else you can imagine.

There are some things that should be pointed out. For starters, it has age appropriate wear which adds to the patina. The leather piece on the top is dry and is tearing away from the studs holding it in place, and one of the cabinet doors appears to have been broken and glued back together. All of these can be seen in the photos so please examine them all. Finally, there is an opening in the front. I'm not sure whether it was made that way or if a drawer is missing. Or possibly the two drawers that are there were added later.

This is an extremely heavy and solid piece. It is 51" wide and 36" deep. The surface is 36" high and it is 42" tall all the way up the back.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. I will do my best to get back to you quickly. And if there is something else you would like to see I will gladly send you more pictures.
