Large Vintage Spanish Figural Carved Buffet or Sideboard

What an amazing statement piece. This is a Spanish Colonial figural carved sideboard or buffet. It is heavily carved mahogany with 3-D sculptures on the two of the cabinet doors. The other two cabinet doors have crests. There is a single shelf that runs inside each cabinet. It has 4 drawers underneath the cabinets. Two of them are divided and lined. Completing the look are wonderful dragon paw feet on the legs and wrought iron brace underneath. The buffet has a key which works all the cabinet locks and two of the 4 drawers. For some reason it does not work in the two drawers that are on the left as you are facing the piece. There are makers tags on the back that has all be torn but at one time read "Jesus Ballester Marco/ Fabrica De Muebles/ Benetuser (Valencia)".

This is an extremely heavy piece that probably weighs around 700 pounds. It is in excellent condition with minor age appropriate finish loss. It is also missing one cabinet door pull that has broken off. This huge sideboard is 97" wide, 22.5" deep and 51.5" tall. We also have a matching bar cabinet for sale.
