This beautiful vintage monks bench was imported from England. There is nice carving on the lower front panel and the underside of the flip top of lift top bench. This dark oak piece also has lots of storage under the bench seat. The arm rests are great lion carvings.

The monks bench is in good condition. It does have some finish loss. There is some trim missing at the bottom along the front. And while this piece is almost all wood, the feet are pressed wood and do show damage on the sides. Please see all the photos for details. It measures 37" wide and 17.5" deep. The bench seat is 20.5" high. It is 38.5" tall with the top portion lifted and 29" with the top portion down.
