Antique Wooden Grand Union Company Coffee Bin

This is a fantastic piece of American history. It is an antique coffee bin from Grand Union Company. It is a large red wooden bin. The Grand Union Company label is there but is obviously faded. Grand Union is a supermarket that was formed in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1874. The three brothers who formed the chain established it's headquarters in Brooklyn, NY in the early 1900's. It has so many uses besides the obvious beautiful decor. Hide your dog food, put a trash can inside, or any other storage use you may have.

This piece is in great condition with some age appropriate wear. It is 24" tall, 17.5" wide and 25" deep.
