Antique English Art Deco Tiger Oak Secretary Desk With Side by Side Bookcases

This wonderful Art Deco piece was imported from England. It is a drop front secretary desk with bookcases on each side and constructed in a beautiful tiger oak. The writing surface has a leather insert. Under that is a single drawer, and below that is a locking cabinet door. It all sets on sturdy squash feet.

The side by side bookcases each have three adjustable shelves and wood handles. And the bottom cabinet also has a shelf with a working lock and key.

The piece is in very good condition with minor age appropriate finish loss. The secretary portion does not have a lock and one of the bookcase shelves is missing a bracket for the shelf to rest on.

The piece is 48" wide, 45" tall and is about 16.25" deep.
