This beautiful inlaid mahogany bookcase was imported from England. It has two open shelves in the front and one on each side. The top features a drop down front with cubbies inside. The drop down portion has nothing to hold it in place when open. I'm guessing that it had a chain at one time, and that can be added again to use it as a small secretary desk.

What makes this piece very unique is the small secret drawer in the back for hiding your valuables. The piece sits on top of 4 casters.

The bookcase does have some finish loss throughout. It is 46" tall, 26.75" wide and 11.25" deep.
